What are the biggest threats for individual groups of animals?

The biggest threats are:

  • the depletion and pollution of the natural habitat of animals due to human activities, such as agriculture (growing of mono-cultural crops), raw material extraction, building of new settlements and roads, etc.
  • illegal hunting and capturing (hunting for trophies, illegal wildlife trade, animal use in folk medicine)

Everyone can help wildlife animals very simply:

  • by preservation of green vegetation and inanimate nature, natural biotopes and food sources
  • by preventing people from leaving waste in nature and from creating of illegal waste dumps
  • by separation of waste
  • by decreasing the use of water and electricity
  • by using environment friendly products (recycled paper)
  • by decreasing the use of chemicals
